December 24, 2023Thursday, December 13, 2018, IBCWE in collaboration with IGCN and UN Women Indonesia held the Women’s Empowerment Principles Working Group with the theme “Sharing & Learning, Women’s Empowerment in the Workplace and Community”. This activity is a series of activities after the launch of the WEP survey results on August 29, 2018 at Atma Jaya University. The participants who attended the WEP Working Group event were those who had registered at the launch of the previous WEP.
In this Working Group event, present Nia Sarinastiti, Marketing & Communications Director of Accenture Indonesia; Dedie Renaldi Manahera, Indonesia Country HR Leader of PT P&G Indonesia; and Heru D. Wardhana, CSR Manager of PT Martina Berto, Tbk as a panelist. They shared stories of how each company supports women’s empowerment through a safe work environment, technology and corporate CSR to help female employees work in the workplace, and encourage women around the company to be economically independent through CSR programs.
This activity will be routinely carried out for companies that have registered with the WEP Working Group. The purpose of this activity is to share experiences between companies regarding women’s empowerment that has been done in the company, what the company wants to do to help women in careers, to CSR programs that can be done to help women both inside and outside the company to be empowered economy.
